Trusted AI in Practice: Ethics and Responsible AI Adoption (Classroom Facilitated Training)

This one-day program provides staff with the basics for responsible and secure use of Generative AI, supporting the development of AI-native skills. Participants will build a clear understanding of core AI and GenAI ethical principles, connect them to Responsible AI practices, and learn how to apply recognised guidelines and best practices in day-to-day work. Through practical discussion and short exercises, participants will also identify common ethical and security-related risks in GenAI interaction and deployment, and use FEAT (Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, Transparency) principles to detect issues and propose actionable mitigation and remediation measures

Participants, through this training, will be able to:

• Demonstrate the understanding of the fundamental ethical principles in AI and Generative AI.
• Connect ethical considerations with the principles of Responsible AI.
• Apply established guidelines and best practices for Generative AI.
• Evaluate and reference recognised frameworks and guidelines relevant to Generative AI.
• Analyse and identify potential ethical risks in the interaction, development, and deployment of Generative AI.
